Disruptive Technology

An innovation that makes a sweeping, often disruptive impact (rather than an incremental one) on its industry.

Disruptive technology is a term coined by Harvard Business School professor Clayton M. Christensen to describe a new technology that unexpectedly displaces an established technology (i.e. new innovations in contrast to incremental developments).  We intend to be innovative and develop new technologies to deal with an ever increasing waste problem at a commercial level.
