Avon Plastics – Plastic Recycling and Extrusion
Avon Plastics recycles, processes and remanufactures various grades of polymers. We have a full recycling plant capable of granulating, washing, drying and extruding polymers to a high standard. The company is an integral part of the group to supply polymer products to both internal and external clients. The manufacturing operations are based in Sydney. Our waste plastic business is sourced from wholesale waste collections and local governments. We are one of the few recycling companies able to collect unwashed plastics due to the advanced technology we employ in our recycling process. Our closed system washing bays enable us to produce a higher grade of recycled plastic which has allow a wider variety of uses than processed unwashed plastic.
Collections are made through direct bulk handling at council depots or through deliveries from contracted suppliers in concert concert with our other business channel partners
We will expand this business to cater to the needs of our recycling business as we utilize the resulting recycled plastic in our composts composite and expand nationally.
Our plastic extrusion business utilizes European extrusion technology that can deliver high value plastics across a wide spectrum. These plastics include High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE) and Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE). We also process other plastic products. The plant was designed to fulfill both our internal requirements to produce composite polymers and also to produce pellets to supply to wholesale manufactures.
